Another prize: doubling my car insurance payments

Looks like my car insurance will be doubling since I moved from the burbs. I wish I was in a position to junk the car. Unfortunately, that’s probably not realistic for me at this point in time.

My bank does it. My insurance company does it.

But not my telecom and alarm service provider. And that makes me happy. Pardon me. But I have a question for you. Can you help me understand why my bank and my insurance company do not want anymore of my money?
